Art Jakarta is Indonesia’s leading art fair. For 11 consecutive years, it is the art event of the year the entire community and all stakeholders in the art market are looking forward to. All important Indonesian collectors as well as a rapidly growing number of young collectors from all sectors of society will attend the Fair.

In 2019, entering the new decade with the 11th edition of the Fair, Art Jakarta will reach a new level, aiming to firmly establish Jakarta as one of Asia’s centre for contemporary art, as well as to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a leader for the development of contemporary art in Asia.

Art Jakarta 2019 present about 70 leading art galleries from within Indonesia and abroad. Special and large-scale on-site art installations by well-known artists for visitors to enjoy and appreciate. Presenting artist collectives and artist initiatives, offering not only many interesting artworks or art objects but also important information about their activities which are a cornerstone of Indonesia’s dynamic art scene.
